A young brunette is a dark haired girl who is not very old. Many times, teens of this description are known as young brunettes. It is very common to refer to people using the color of their hair. A brunette who is mainly young is a girl and, they are at a very interesting stage in their lives. Being young is what people want to be but, they forget that there are very many challenges that face people when they are young. There are several problem and they include the following. First, it is very difficult to air your voice. This is because you are considered too young to know anything. Many grown ups do not believe that something solid can come from a person who is young. This is even worse for young girls. This is a common problem and the solution never comes until you are all grown up. When you are young, you have certain fears that are usually kept to yourself. You are afraid of what people will think if you share the particular problem. This is a problem that is common to many young people and, it is until they grow up that they start to realize the torture was unnecessary. Therefore, when one is young, they do not have profound knowledge that can make them escape some common problems.

A young brunette can do very many things to ensure that she overcomes some of the common problems that often face many. First, it is vital to recognize and even name the problem before finding a solution. The first problem is image issues. When many young brunettes are growing up, they will seek to question whether their body image matches other perfect images. This is usually when teen age is about to or when it has set in. All girls want to be beautiful and, when they perceive they are not, a huge problem is created. As a young person, you need to know what beauty is. It is not just what is seen on the outside. When you are young, it is very hard to appreciate this but, you need to have the right information. Comparing yourself with others will not do you any justice and, you need to stop it.

Empower yourself with information on being the best you can be. Nobody really cares if you are the most beautiful young brunette in the country. After a while, they will forget if you have nothing concrete to offer. Therefore, realize that life should be full of content. If you are involved in any sporting activities, seek to be the best in that. In school work, let people recognize your potential. This is the only true way that you are going to value yourself. When you are content with yourself, you will be in a position to outdo yourself and, have people admire you not for what you look like but for what you have achieved. Take time and make sure you learn at every opportunity. Most importantly, you need to enjoy your youth and make sure you have real fun.

Rachel Harding asked:

When I started writing my tips for breaking a young horse I thought I must be mad, what did I know? There are loads of experts out there all offering advice and I was just a humble horse owner, not a trainer etc. Then I decided that if my story helps anyone to have the confidence to work with their own horse then I believe they will find it a rewarding experience and it will be beneficial to both the horse or pony and themselves.

Backing, Breaking and Training a young horse. Well its something that we are told is best left to the experts and to some degree I agree, as you can do a lot of damage to a horse at such a young age, but with the right support and information I do believe you can make a good job of it.

Its easy to say leave it to the experts but for most of us our horses and ponies are part of our family. We are the one’s who are with them every day and the one’s who have built up mutual trust and a bond with them.

I took a break from owning my own horse for about 15 years. Then found myself, in my naivety, being the proud owner of a 2 yr old filly. I fell in love with her, what more can I say, but she was 16.1hh and very powerful. A lot could have gone wrong. I did contemplate sending her away when the time came, to have her professional broken, backed and schooled. There were several problems with this idea though. Number one was the cost, I just didn’t have the money to do that as the quotes I had attained were extortionate. Number 2 was this was my horse, I had spent hours and hours in the stable with her, bonding, grooming and just sitting there gaining her trust. I didn’t want to send her away and lose all that. I knew she trusted me, she would follow me around the paddock like a dog, if I ran she would trot after me. Quite scary when you have a 16.1hh thoroughbred chasing you. I had never read a natural horsemanship book, but I realised that this was just what we were doing.

I also discovered she had never been walked off the yard, boxed, lunged or had a bit anywhere near her. I figured it was going to be a long drawn out process.

In reality I couldn’t have been more wrong. Although I did take things very slowly I found backing her to be extremely straight forward.

I used a lot of common sense, sought loads of advice from local tack shops and the people on the yard, and read as much information as I could find including everyone else’s tips on breaking a young horse. A lot of the techniques and equipment had evolved from when I had had my last horse. So I had to learn what to do with it again.

The things I learnt and my 10 tips for breaking a young horse are:

1./ Spend time bonding with your horse or pony, don’t just rush into breaking it. You will need time to build up mutual trust.

2./ Learn your horses moods. Learn their normal behaviour and pick up when something is wrong.

3./ Spend time before you try to back your horse getting it used to basic commands, both on the lunge and long rein. Stand, walk, trot will be invaluable once your horse is first backed.

4./ Introduce the bit slowly – don’t just expect to put it in your horses mouth and leave it there for hours. Try a few minutes at a time over several week and get a bit suitable for a young horse. I used a copper key bit.

5./ Introduce the saddle without girth, stirrups and leathers to begin with and remove again after a few minutes.

6./ Before you even think of putting someone on your horses back get the horse used to wearing the saddle and bridle on the lunge or in hand.

7./ When lunging the first few times in tack make sure stirrups and leathers are not flapping around and spooking your horse.

8./ When you do introduce someone on their back ensure you are the one who is talking to your horse, after all you are the one who is built up the trust.

9./ Try to get someone light to be the person who first sits on your horse. Start with them just lying over your horse and then gradually sitting. Make sure every movement of the rider is slow a fluid. Again make sure this isn’t rushed and is done over weeks.

10./ Take backing your horse or pony slowly, take the lead from the animal. If they are looking stressed or anxious or are really misbehaving stop. There is generally a reason.

It took me about 2.5 months to back my horse from only ever having a head collar on to gently hacking out with me on her.

I introduced everything bit by bit and talked to her constantly. It might seem a long time to some people but I was left with a well adjusted horse who doesn’t get stressed or act up very often. She takes the lead from me and will attempt new things because I firmly believe she trusts me.

Make sure you are safe at all times and that someone is with you if necessary who is more knowledgeable but don’t be afraid and take the lead.

There is no excuse when horse breaking to be cruel, and remember animals including horses are not born bad, they react to what we as humans do to them.

Shaun Smith asked:

Young people generally have the confidence and the energy to take anything as challenge and then move forward. If they take up a loan too they will be able to repay it by various ways as they use to have the capacity to work harder. In fact, it is the young people who need money quite often for a variety of purposes. They sometimes want to start their own business and sometimes the responsibility of the whole family use to rest on them. Therefore, they need money quite often and keeping in mind this factor the loans for young people are being implemented.

If you are young and want to secure these loans then you must produce certain documents before the lender. Only after being approved you will get these loans and therefore, try to be careful and honest enough in providing documents for the loan. You have to be of 18 year or above that, have to earn a good monthly income and have to have a bank account; then only you will be allowed.

These are classified into secured and unsecured loans and you can go for anyone. Going for the secured loans will be possible only if you have the capacity to pledge collateral. Otherwise, there is no hope for you to get these loans. So, place your property as security and get a big amount as loan. The repayment term use to be long and the rate of interest is quite low. So, it will be suitable for you.

In the unsecured loans small amount is offered but it will be helpful for one in handling small matters. The rates of interest in it use to be high and there are ways to avoid it also. Moreover, the good thing about these loans is that you will not have to place any security for gaining it. That is why, the loans for young people are considered to be useful and helpful.

Who wouldn’t want to feel and look young in their fifties and sixties plus. I know I do. I think there are certain tricks to learning how to stay young.

1. Attitude plays a big part in your quest to stay young. You can’t expect to feel and look young if you don’t believe that you can.

2. Taking care of your body is an important element in staying young.

3. You need to watch your diet and eat nutritiously.

4. Taking multi vitamins and certain herbal medicines can help you maintain good health, and help you have a lot of energy and drive.

5. Caring about others and your own future will give you a reason to stay young.

6. Doing things that challenge your mind will help.

7. Challenging your body through exercise will help.

8. Stress reduction can be a big help.

9. Learn to relax and smile and laugh a lot and have a sense of humor.

10. Keeping a list of all the things you want to do and all the places you want to go to will help.

Sometimes we have to motivate ourselves to want to stay young. We need to take a few minutes and think of all the wonderful things we can do that require that we have the energy and ambition to do them.

It’s always a good idea to be optimistic about all the wonderful things the future has in store for us. We can look forward with pleasure to having more time to spend with our children and grandchildren, but let’s not forget that we still want to be productive citizens whether that means continuing to work, finding new part time jobs, or volunteering our services to a worthy cause. It’s important to stay active.

Set for yourself a series of goals that you want to accomplish. Look at this list of goals in the light of your past experiences. Decide what you have accomplished so far in your life, and what you still want to do. Determine what your priorities are, and what it will take for you to accomplish them.

Be proud of all you have accomplished, and be sure you go forward into the future with the same positive attitude that got you to this juncture in your life.

Most important, be happy. You have a lot of great things to look forward to; staying young at heart is one of them. It’s time to relax and live longer.

Do you have suggestions on how to stay young longer? Please share them with us.

Neil Young, very talented Rock artist has released him latest album titled American Stars N Bars and Wow! It’s really a good one.

Refreshingly, this was one of those CDs I was able to just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

These days it’s a very rare CD on which every single song is good or better than the one before it. This CD is certainly one of those rare CDs.

I’m of the opinion that American Stars N Bars is certainly Neil Young’s best work in a few years. A totally enjoyable CD and an outstanding release. What I call must have music. I give it two thumbs up because it’s a collection that even the casual Rock fan can appreciate and enjoy.

While the entire album is really very good the truly standout tunes are track 2 – Saddle Up The Palomino, track 4 – Hold Back The Tears, and track 9 – Homegrown.

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 – The Old Country Waltz. What a nice track!

Stephen Lau asked:

(c) 2008 Stephen Lau

Ben Douglas, professor at the University of Mississippi Medical School at Jackson, once said, “You’re as young as you think.”

Apparently, if you think you are young, you will stay young. Thinking young is a self-fulfilling prophecy.

But the problem is: How to think young and stay young.

Aging is gradual, but inevitable. Aging has a direct debilitating effect on your brain. Free radicals can damage your brain over decades of changes: when you reach 65, your brain cells undergo many more mutations than they did in your younger years. These cumulative changes may bring about a neurological disease, such as dementia.

If that is the case, then how do you think young?

Firstly, you need to understand that age does not affect your intelligence. Intelligence is general cognitive power in processing new information and making logical decisions based on the information acquired. If your brain is healthy, it is capable of performing all these cognitive functions, and much more, because the potential of the human brain is never fully harnessed and utilized.

Research studies have demonstrated that your brain has the same amount of cognitive “reserves” even when you reach old age; in other words, your cognitive functions remain almost intact even if there is cumulative damage due to free radicals. However, when the cumulative damage reaches a certain “critical” point, then signs and symptoms of dementia may begin to surface.

The evident moral lesson: Prevent the onset of gradual cumulative damage; don’t wait till you have acquired some form of dementia before you take any positive action. Do something about it NOW!

Simply, thinking young makes you stay young.

Drugs (such as estrogen, testosterone and DHEA hormone replacement therapies) may slow down the mutations of brain cells, thereby keeping your brain healthy.

Brain exercises can promote “synaptic plasticity.” Synapses are unstable entities in your brain, and they can adapt to any change in neurons. Essentially, synaptic plasticity means “use it or lose it.” Inputting more information promotes synaptic plasticity; that is to say, it gives your brain more work to do, such as memorizing and processing information. Brain exercises, like any type of physical exercise, require consistency and regularity in order to be beneficial and effective. To achieve this, it is important to make your brain exercises interesting with variety. Just as cross-training of a variety of muscle groups will lead to overall physical fitness, cross-training of different cognitive functions of the brain will contribute to optimum brain fitness.

To increase cognitive functions of your brain, try learning a new language. Research has shown that bilinguals who regularly use two languages have better protection against the onset of dementia than those who use only one language. The reason is that learning a new language requires symbol decoding, memorizing, and even abstract reasoning – which are all important cognitive functions of a healthy brain.

Aside from learning a new language, taking up a new sport, such as tennis or golf, or playing a new musical instrument also contributes to optimum cognitive functioning, because these activities require concentration, memorization, and coordination of motor skills, which benefit your brain cells.

Other than brain exercises, the first line of defense against the demise of brain cells may include using antioxidants and supplements to combat free radicals, which damage brain cells over time. These antioxidants include beta carotene, carotenoids, vitamins E and C, glutathione, alpha lipoic acid, coenzyme Q10, and pycnogenol.

You may also use non-antioxidants to boost your brain health, such as selenium and zinc, and herbs, such as gingko biloba.

Prevention is better than cure. This certainly applies to thinking young to stay young.

Overview

A baby, or infant, may be defined as a human child at the earliest stage of life. In particular, it refers to that period before they can walk, and essentially before they attain the age of one year.

The term “infant” is derived from the Latin in-fans, which means “unable to speak.” Interestingly, there is no exact definition for the term infancy. “Infant” is also a legal term with the meaning of a minor, that is, any child under the age of legal adulthood.

In the case of a human baby less than one month old, it is referred to as a newborn baby or a neonate. When referring to a newborn child, this also includes the characterisation premature, post mature, and full term babies.

Around the age of one or at the stage where the child is beginning to walk, babies are subsequently referred to as toddlers. This stage of development is normally associated with the age group of 12-36 months.

Daycare centres, which contain facilities for babies, often describe all the children in their care as infants. Even when they are older than one year or may be walking, they sometimes use the term “walking infant”.

Newborn Baby

Appearance

Narrow shoulders and hips, an abdomen that may possibly have a slight protrusion, and fairly short arms and legs are typically regarded as the characteristics of a newborn baby.

It is widely recognised that, at birth, the average weight of a full-term, newborn baby, is approximately 7 ½ lbs, or 3.2 kg. However, an acceptable weight may fall within the range of 5.5-10 pounds, or 2.7-4.6 kg. The normal body length is around 14-20 inches, or 35.6-50.8 cm. However, premature babies may be considerably smaller.

The Apgar score is a recognised measure of a newborn’s passage from the uterus, the major female productive organ, during the first few minutes after it is born. A newborn baby’s head is very large in proportion to the rest of its body, whilst the cranium, which is the upper part of the skull, is enormous in comparison with the size of the face.

In general, the length of an adult human skull is about 1/8 of the total body length, whilst that of a newborn is about 1/4.

At birth, there are some areas of the newborn babies skull have yet to be transformed into bone. Therefore, this leaves distinctly delicate areas known as fontanels. There are two particularly significant fontanels. The first, and largest, is a diamond-shaped anterior fontanel, positioned at the front portion of the top of the head. The second is a smaller triangular-shaped posterior fontanel, positioned at the back of the head. As the child gets older, these bones will fuse together in a natural process. The delay in a baby’s skull fusion is due to a protein called noggin.

In 1952, Dr Virginia Apgar developed a simple and reproducible method of quickly assessing the health of a newborn baby immediately after childbirth. It was called the Apgar score. It is determined by assessing the newborn baby on five simple criteria, on a scale from zero to two, and then calculating the five values relating to each criteria. The Apgar score obtained in this way will have values anywhere between zero and 10. The five criteria, based on the term APGAR, are: Appearance, Pulse, Grimace, Activity, and Respiration.

Reactor is the latest Rock CD put out by the highly talented Neil Young who once again has delivered a brilliant collection of tracks. I’m confident Neil Young fans, and Rock fans alike will be pleased with this one.

Unfortunately, it’s not everyday that I get a CD from an artist that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just can’t force myself to get through. Not at all the case with Reactor. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

Francis Githinji asked:

From their second album, young love is a hit single from the Mystery Jets. Young love lyrics are some of the greatest words that describe an uncertain love story that is based on deep affection. The young love lyrics will remind you about the importance of love and more so, you will be in a position to realize just how strong the emotion can be. The following is a first stanza of the young love lyrics. ‘If only I knew your name, I would go from door to door, searching all the crowded streets for the place that I once saw’. It is a story of first love and first impressions and, the lyrics could not have said it better. It is a tale of a girl who made an impression for the very first time and, is nowhere to be found. The lyrics to the song continue like this ‘Tell me have you seen the girl I met once before’.

The song is able to incorporate the yearning for romance as the lyrics continue to shed more light ‘One night of love, nothing more nothing less, one night of love put my head in a mess, is that you on the bus, is that you on the train?’ Clearly the girl is nowhere to be found. The story is about uncertain destinations and an unlucky encounter of love. This is best described by the lyrics that are stated as follows. ‘You wrote your number on my hand and it came off in the rain’. This is the reason why there is no way to trace the dream girl. This song is not just full of emotion but, it ensures that you are kept yearning for more as the story of love unravels. The following stanza describes the young love ‘young love never seems to last, far too young until they have a past, one night of love, nothing more nothing less, one night of love, has left my heart in a mess’. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing a song describe your true emotion.

There are very many people who can relate to this and, it is one that has become a favorite of many. The Mystery Jets surely outdid themselves. There is nothing that can replace the performance by these inspired artists. Do not stop with the lyrics; make sure you have their video so that you can have them close to you. Music for love continues to grow to great heights and, society has become more welcoming as the huge population of the young and the young at heart, continue to find the lyrics irreplaceable. You can get all the lyrics from the Internet and, you can also watch the video. You can then judge for yourself as you experience some of the greatest love words ever written. You can also read some of the reviews from fans all around the world. Good reviews mean that the song is good and from the look of things, young love is a very good song. If you like it, you can post your reviews for others to gage. It is so much fun.
